Who's ready for Fall recipes?

Summer is over and it’s still hot in southeast Louisiana but the temperature is dropping (slightly). I’m ready for a seasonal ingredient change as we move into fall. I look forward to spending more time with friends in the back yard and more time making hearty roasts and baked goods. Here are some of my recipes that I look forward making this season.

Beet hummus is vibrantly colored and always the star of any meat and cheese platter. Grab the recipe here and invite your friends over for an evening of noshing.

If you’re looking for a set-it-and-forget-it kind of recipe take a look at my instructions for Crock Pot Roast. It’s on my No Recipe page and easy to adapt to seasonal ingredients or your family’s taste.

One Dish Baked Chicken and Leeks will be on repeat in my home. It’s easy to prepare and complex tasting enough to serve at a dinner party.

I crave this Oyster and Artichoke soup! Its cozy and creamy and perfect for fall.

It’s time to start brushing up on your pie skills for the holidays. My recipe for Early Grey Custard Pie is perfumed with bergamot from Earl Grey tea and a delicious addition to your holiday dessert table.

Rich shards of chocolate add a pop of flavor to my recipe for Chocolate Chunk Pumpkin Bread. It’s a great hostess gift, a lightly sweet dessert or a nice addition to morning cup of coffee.
