It’s Fall Y’all and Pastry Dough Season!

Are you in search of a recipe that will leave everyone wanting more?  Start by making a few batches of my pastry dough and pop them into the freezer. They’ll easily thaw to make the following recipes for pies, tarts, galettes and cookies that use my pastry crust. It’s Fall, so when there’s a chill in the air, turn on your oven and enjoy a sweet or savory treat made with pastry crust.

This savory galette is bursting with flavor from caramelized onions that are topped with juicy tomatoes. Click here for my Tomato Galette recipe.

Go for it! It’s citrus season and a Lemon Meringue pie will be more than welcome at your next gathering.

My pastry crust creates the most delicate and flavorful fig cookies. The filling can be made in advance and thawed when ready to make fig cookies.

The adventurous baker will enjoy making this Earl Grey Custard Pie.  It is perfumed with bergamot from earl grey tea, and the perfect ending to any meal.

Creamy, crumbly and layered with flavor kids of all ages will enjoy this Peanut Butter Pie.

Blueberry Cranberry Galette is all I have to hear to get me into a Fall mood. Grab the recipe here and grab some ice cream, too.

Learning how to make a fail-proof pastry crust has been invaluable.  I enjoy making this so much that I always have a stash in the freezer.  It's a great gift for the baker in your life, and you should try it this Fall and this Thanksgiving season with your favorite pie filling.
